The Japanese don't let a little thing like a lack of garden bother them. On a side road near us we saw some courgettes growing about 20 feet up, along some telegraph wires. Some of them were a foot long and looked most odd, hanging there in such an urban setting.
Now Tim has a high temperature. Half the kids we know are dropping like flies: fever, roseola, flu... Emily is as boisterous as ever. She loves the aeroplane I made for her out of a cardboard box, and gets me to make personalised tickets for her toys so they can ride in it. She also surprised me by saying 'mine' instead of 'Emily ticket' when picking out hers, so she is starting to understand the possessive.
