Another warm day, which felt more like September or October. Nick took Emily to the playground in Aakabanebashi while I went to my class. After lunch we put up the Christmas tree, with Emily taking full part for the first time. Naturally, all her baubles ended up in the same small patch with the rest of the tree bare, so I furtively moved it all around afterwards.
Nick was still not at all well, so he stayed at home napping while I took Emily to the pool in Tamachi. We were in the water for an hour; Cliff and Charlize joined us halfway through, by which time Emily was fed up with 'swimming' and wanted to go in the jacuzzi pool. She did quite well but did not let go of me at all, whereas she did last time in the end. I wish I could say otherwise but she does seem to have inherited my defeatist 'can't do it' attitude. That particularly applies to getting dressed and undressed, and to tooth brushing.
